Felt Flower Crafting and Pot Painting Workshop

Spend an hour designing your own terracotta clay pots and creating your own felt botanical arrangement. 

Everything will be provided and no green thumb needed.  Paint, pots, stencils, brushes are provided, as well as a wide selection of pre-made flowers, or try your hand at crafting your own.  This is a free-form workshop, so get as detailed with the paints as time allows, or try your hand at creating flowers and succulents (mother nature makes it look so easy). 

This is a great workshop for the older kiddos (5+) as well as adults. These are a perfect opportunity for kiddos to create their own end-of-school teacher gifts.

This is a RARE opportunity at this amazing price to learn to craft and finish your very own leather clutch or card wallet in this fast paced hour long workshop. The design is simple, durable and something you can be extremely proud of for years to come. No experience necessary. There is no sewing in this workshop. All materials will be provided to make and take home your own finished piece. Community tools will be provided to be used in the workshop only. Students are welcome to bring any additional trim or preferred closures that they might want to include on their leather piece. The workshop will provide a Sam Browne button in a variety of metal finishes for the closure otherwise. Self Watering Flower Pot

Learn how to construct a self-watering pot using a mason jar, a clay pot and some cotton rope. We will paint our pots to start and after assembling all the pieces you will be able to choose which seeds you would like to plant. Wheatgrass, basil and snap pea seeds will be provided or bring your own favorite herbs! These pots work very well for plants that like a constant degree of moisture. It’s also perfect for people who love the look of green plants but are forgetful about watering!

Contemporary Embroidery: Spring Flora Workshop

Through stitching flora-inspired designs, participants will learn everything there is to know about contemporary embroidery. Emilie Luckett, a Denver-Native fiber artist, will be going over all the basics of the craft, such as how to set up your hoops, transferring a pattern from paper to cloth, and all of her most used stitches, with lots of tips and tricks being shared along the way. A collection of patterns will be available for participants to choose from, and all materials will be provided. Don't finish your hoop by the end of the workshop? Don't worry! Take home the supplies needed for you to complete your piece + a zine that goes over all the basic stitches learned in the workshop. Beginner and advanced stitchers alike are both welcomed to join in on the fun!
