Join Kids Markets where the next generation of makers, ages 5-17 years old, will be selling their handmade wares.

Interactive Butterfly Garden
Say hello and hand feed hundreds of butterflies in this interactive butterfly garden presented by Grace & Honor. Enjoy a butterfly release at the end of the event, introducing more pollinators into the environment, creating a healthier ecosystem.

Free Cordage Bracelets (Sat only)

Hosted by San Diego Craft Collective, sharing the ancient craft of hand, twinning cordage using a few very common landscape plants to create cordage bracelets. Cultures from around the globe learned thousands of years ago, how to utilize the fibers in plants to make a myriad of useful items such as string, twine, rope, and threads. The knowledge of useful plant fibers perfected by our ancestors, gave way to weaving of textiles and fabrics, making up clothing, fishnets, and even rigging and sails for sailing vessels.

Indigo Dyeing Workshop (Sat only)

Hosted by San Diego Craft Collective, all ages welcome! Explore the magic of indigo dyeing in this hands‑on, dye‑resist activity. Learn simple resist techniques, dip your textile into our deep‑blue indigo vat, and leave with a one‑of‑a‑kind hand‑dyed creation you made yourself. Children under age 8 must participate with an adult for assistance.

Wunderkits For Kids

Wunderkits are premium DIY kits for kids, teaching kids the art of bath and body crafting (think soaps, bath bombs and more!). Choosing ingredients that are ethically sourced, cruelty free and free from many toxins found in most store bought cosmetic products, including parabens, phthalates, detergents, PEGs, silicones and more. Kits include everything needed in pre-measured quantities to ensure success in the making. It’s good clean fun!
