Join us in Alameda Park for a free admission weekend of celebrating local community, through craft, music, and handmade.

Guests can expect to find family friendly activities, local musicians, foodie finds, and trendsetting indie goods including original fashion and jewelry design, paper goods, innovative home decor and housewares, art, photography, and much more from over 180 local artisans.

We have a few spots remaining for activation booths.  Apply below to join us!

ACTIVITIES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Santa Barbara Arts Association:

Visitors are invited into a playful, evolving art space built around conversation, curiosity, and participation.  Guests will be able to invent titles for original artworks, leave short reactions, interpretations, or unexpected observations. about the pieces on display and participate in a small drawing exchange where visitors can leave behind a sketch, doodle, or tiny artwork and discover one created by someone else in return.  

The both will continuously change SBAA artists rotate artworks in and out during the event, creating a living mini-gallery.

Solstice Float Viewing:

See local artist Paul Tefft's float from the  Solstice Parade on display throughout the weekend and get a chance to see work and detail that goes into creating these experiences.

Free Yoga in the Park: 

Hosted by Santa Barbara Yoga Center: Enjoy a 30 minute yoga session at 11:30 am on Saturday and 12:30 pm on Sunday.  Bring your own mat or towel, or simply find a spot on the grass. All levels are welcome!

Sparklez Slimez will be providing slime for you to customize to your heart's desire.  An amazingly fun sensory activity for the whole family.

DIRECTIONS & PARKING

Directions

From the 101 freeway take the Garden Street exit and turn towards the mountains. Alameda Park will be on your left between Sola and Micheltorena streets. There is usually plenty of free parking nearby.

 

 


 

Parking Options & Tips:

  • Street Parking: Abundant, typically unrestricted parking surrounds the park on Sola, Micheltorena, Garden, and Santa Barbara streets.

  • Disabled Parking: Specific spots are reserved along the westbound lane of Micheltorena St., between Garden St. and Santa Barbara St..

  • Alternative Parking: If street parking is full, the downtown area is within walking distance, featuring city-run lot

    •  (0.3 mi away from the park) Lot 6, 1221 Anacapa St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

    • (0.5 mi away from the park) Public Parking Lot 5: 1230 Chapala St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

    • (0.9 mi away from the park) Ortega Garage: Lot 10, 18E E Ortega St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

    • (0.9 mi away from the park) Paseo Nuevo Garage: 723 Chapala St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

  • Please note NO EVENT PARKING in the Lady of Sorrow Parish lot at 21 E Sola St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101
