There will be security overnight (both Friday and Saturday nights). You may leave your tent and display materials up overnight between event days. We suggest you pack up merchandise and we do not recommend you leave valuable or small items. We have experienced theft in the past. Please be mindful of your products.
All rented items will be at your booth upon arrival on Saturday morning. Tents will be set up on Friday afternoon, if you are renting a tent your space may not be ready for you until Saturday morning.
Please note: Per city requirements, we will be staking & zip tying all tents together either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. If you set up your tent on Friday, please bring weights for Friday evening in case we are unable to stake and zip tie you to your neighbor.
Do not remove the zip ties that we place between event days.
The Pasadena Fire Marshall is very serious about tent weighting. We'll be staking all tents and zip tying you to you neighboring tent, per their requirements.
If you'll be arriving Friday for set up, please bring your own weights, as your neighbors may not yet have arrived for us to attach you to.

The fair is rain or shine. While we hope for the best, we will also be prepared. See our RAIN TIPS (https://www.jackalopeartfair.com/post/rain-tips)blog to stay prepared for weather.
Weather will be monitored leading up to the event and if anything out of the ordinary is expected, we will reach out.
There could be. Unfortunately, there is a guest we have seen at recurring events who has become a problem. Typically, he'll cause problems in a few ways:
1) Taking photos of non-consenting people (especially women and minors)
2) Pulling out a hidden Jackalope badge (that he shouldn't have) and pretending he is our staff / asking for freebies from booths. Please do not engage this man.
